Individual Production Company Sequence:
I decided to create a production company sequence that could be used for a horror movie, or any sub genre in that area. Due to this I decided to set it in the woods, a common place horror/slasher movies are set. I decided to lower the saturation to make it black and white to add to the horror genre feel. As well as adding non diegetic music to add to this.

I then trimmed the clip to the amount i desired, to create the flickered affect and to ensure that the sequence was not too long.
I then edited the video in order to get the affect that i desired. Lowering the exposure in order to darken the video and give it a more eerie feel. I also decreased the brightness slightly and lowered the saturation in order to get the black and white effect.

After this I then had to add a title to my last clip in order to state the production companies name. I decided to pick a simple title that could be changed if needed, 'Spooky House Productions'. I then had to choose the title effect I deemed suitable, I thought that 'horizontal blur' was the most appropriate since it is very simple and blurs as it enters and as it leaves. Which I thought looked quite effective.
I then had to choose a title font, I chose 'Big Caslon Medium' because I thought it looked the most professional out of the options available. The straight harsh edges and points of the font also are suitable, because they may show a slight sign of foreshadowing. To represent the harsh event to come within the movie.
I also used a white font to ensure that it stood of amongst the dark background, and I made the font fairly large and aligned it to the middle so that it would be very clear.

I also added an affect to the beginning and end of the sequence in order for it to fade/darken in and out, so it finishes and ends smoothly.
After this I then decided to add music to the sequence in order to make it further suit the horror genre and create suspense, I found a piece of music off YouTube without copyright and then copied it into YouTube converter and saved it to my music. After that I imported it to my movie and cropped it to the right time and changed the starting point of the music in order for the music to louden as the title appeared.

I then pasted the link to youtube converter, and converted the music. Afterwards i saved it into my music and imported it into my editing software.

I decided to clip the audio in order to make it start from the position i desired so that loud music appeared as my title did, i also trimmed it to the correct length of my video.

Evaluation:
- Overall the effect I was going for turned out decently, and to some extent how I had planned.
- I also thought the sequence suited the genre I was going for, conforming to common conventions such as the location being in a woods.
- The use of the ominous, creepy music added effect to the clip and further showed the genre i was going for.
- However, the editing software I used was not very advanced so it was difficult to make it look exactly how I had planned. Since I used 'I movie', because it was the only one available to me at the time.
- I also think the font used, although the best available, could have been better, since it looked slightly out of place in comparison to the rest of the sequence.
