Incinerate actress analysis

Actress analysis from film opening-

Before filming our film opening, we had to allocate roles to every one within the group. We only needed two people for acting in the film opening, so the other two would not be on camera and would help out with actually filming stand finding the best camera angles.

Kelsey-
We decided that, after some discussion, Kelsey would be best suited to play the main character. This involves being in the whole film opening, having quite good acting skills and not being shy in front of the camera. Kelsey also has a look where she doesn't look vulnerable or weak, she looks like someone that would want to go exploring and isn't afraid of much. The main character had to be a girl as the storyline is that only girls are effected by the murderer.
This meant that Kelsey would be involved only slightly with the camera work and would have to take instructions from the person filming and carry out those instructions well and efficiently.

Isabel (me)-
We decided that I would best suit playing the role of the dead person laying on the floor. I wanted to be quite involved with the filming, yet I was much more confident in front of the camera than the other two group members. By only being in front of the camera for a short section, it means I can do a good amount of the filming and can also do some acting. I was also the only one willing to lay down on the floor of a broken, run down and abandoned shack in the middle of no where!

Lauryn-
We decided that because Lauryn was quite camera shy but not quite as much as the last girl in the group, she could play the murderer. This was the best role for her to play as she's only in it for 15 seconds and you never see her face, only the back of her head. Lauryn managed the camera angles and the positions of the camera that looked the best for filming. She was heavily involved with the filming and made some of the key decisions.

Harriet-
We decided that as Harriet didn't really want to be in the film, that she would be best suited as the director and deciding the shots and camera angles, what would be good and bad to shoot, facial expressions and how the light hit the shot and the camera. She made instructions for Kelsey, Lauryn and I to follow and worked well as a leader. We thought Harriet would be best for this role as she can take charge of a situation and is strong-minded.
